INTRODUCTION
No matter who you want to influence, communication is the key to making sure that your audience receives your message. And good communication hinges on good writing.
It is the foundation on which campaign strategies are formulated and executed. In other words, without good writing, you cannot tell a compelling story that will grab and hold the attention of your audience.
Writing comes naturally to some, but others may find it to be more difficult. There are many elements that combine to make writing impactful. It is not always easy to write in a way that is clear, accessible, and entertaining. However, an important thing to remember is that writing is a skill and not a talent.
What this means is that anyone (yes, even you) can learn to write and you will become better at it the more you practice.
The objective of this course is to get you started. We will provide you with the building blocks to improve your writing skills.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You can work through the lessons at your own pace, picking up where you left off anytime you want.
Each lesson can be taken individually and includes exercises.
Exercises are not compulsory. You can choose to skip them, but we would strongly advise you to complete them.
When you enroll, a notebook will automatically be created for you. There, you can copy/paste content from the course or type your own notes. This notebook can be downloaded in pdf format at any time by opening the notes menu on the right-hand side of your screen.
